HENRIK TUXEN, BIÓGRAFO DE PEARL JAM: “NO HE VISTO NINGUNA BANDA DE LOS ÚLTIMOS AÑOS CON LA TRASCENDENCIA DE PEARL JAM” by Andrés del Real (La Tercera)
March 16, 2018, Chile

The writer-to-be dozes off for a moment backstage after an incredibly long day, but wakes up suddenly with somebody hopping in his lap, wrapping an arm around his shoulder, looking him straight in the eyes with a laugh and saying something he doesn’t comprehend a word of. Henrik Tuxen is a substitute roadie for Pearl Jam's supporting act Fastbacks - one of Eddie's favourite bands. Earlier that year, Kurt Bloch produced Sharing Patrol in Seattle.

"To me, Pearl Jam is still the world’s greatest band. To me, it’s the most complete band – a single band whose catalog embodies so many aspects of the very reason I listen to music. Anger, strength, power, passion, intensity, humor, insight, euphoria, unity, love and the four elements. I’ve found my mentors in Pearl Jam – on a human, musical and personal level. A way of being, with an underlying base of humility and respect for others. They’ve given me an education in reading situations and staying calm, reserved and relaxed – even under pressure. It’s become an essential element of my continued work as a journalist and, I would hope, my dealings with fellow humans. I do my best." Henrik Tuxen

US book release March 7 2018. Available on Amazon and Smashwords worldvide.

20 years in the making, now the script has been approved.

While the band never wanted to publish an official biography, they approved the release of this book. 'The More You Need - The Less You Get' is an in depth and very personal alternative Pearl Jam biography.

Danish author and rock journalist Henrik Tuxen's new book about Pearl Jam will be released very soon. Here a little book trailer while we wait for PEARL JAM The More You Need - The Less You Get (US edition).

From Kickstarter campaign November 1 o December 1, 2017. The campaign was a succes. 249 backers pledged DKK 67,075 to help bring this project to life via Kickstarter and one backer pledged a bit later.
